Check out my sweet little baby!!! We had our 20 week ultrasound today, although I am closer to 21 weeks. It was A-mazing! Can you seriously believe that this little baby is inSIDE of me? I still can't get over it. It is living, growing, and changing as I write this and I don't have to do a single thing to make that happen. I fully respect the fact that some people don't believe in God, but at moments like this, it is hard to understand why or how?
The ultrasound technician made note (on more than one occasion) that our baby has very big feet! I just laughed when she told us. John has big feet--but he's tall and he's a man, so that's to be expected, right? But my feet are also huge! and while I've felt like its a horrible thing my whole life, I am suddenly grinning at the thought of our child having big feet, just like me and John. And quite frankly, I think they are the most perfect feet I've ever seen.
The best part of the entire ultrasound was hearing the technician say words like, "healthy", "normal", and "beautiful". The last few weeks, i've made myself a little nuts worrying about the health of our little one, and it just leads to more and more anxiety. So Praise God for a wonderful healthy report and for a wonderful healthy baby. We still don't know the sex, but it won't be long now. John and I are taking a mini-vacation getaway next weekend to a cabin in the woods of North Michigan (hip hip hooray!). As of today, we have the sex of the baby on a piece of paper in a sealed envelope (that I asked John to hide from me), and we are going to open it on our romantic getaway! ONE more week!

ONE MORE WEEK is right!!!! Can't wait!!! So thankful and praising God with you that Little Big Foot is healthy. I never tire of looking at ultrasound pics--SO AWESOME!!
