the new pad

Here are a few pictures from our new place in Baltimore. A few things to note about it.

1) It's the nicest place John and I have ever lived since being married.

2) It's 2 miles from the hospital where John is rotating. washer and dryer. cats welcome. pretty and safe street. 2 and a half bedrooms. front and side porch. grill. do I need to go on?

3) God completely dropped it in our lap. After months of perusing craigslist with no leads, I eventually posted a "want ad". Days before signing a lease with someone else, the owner of this place emails ME saying she saw my ad and wanted to rent with us.

4) The owner is a professional viola player!! and is playing in an opera festival this summer, which is why she needed to rent her place.

5) Dixie loves the new digs.

6) porches, porches, porches.....

7) The second bedroom just "happened" to be painted blue. Seriously?!

8) There is even room (barely) for a 3rd bedroom for our guests.

I've already been on a stroll with Beckham around the neighborhood and stopped in to shop at Trader Joe's. Whole Foods and Anthropologie for browsing up next!! Happy June everyone!
