Dad's home!

There are few moments more wonderful than when John gets home from the hospital each day. Even though we don't have a house full of kids screaming, "Dad's home!", that's what it feels like when I see his little black Honda round the corner. Beckham is always so happy to see him and John is equally grinning from ear to ear. Part of me is just thankful to be "off" for even a few minutes before we start the bedtime routine because I'm usually exhausted. The other part of me is soaking up this precious family time. John has to work 12 hour shifts every day, so by the time he gets home, we have about 30 minutes together before we start getting Beckham ready for bed. Those 30 minutes are, indeed, precious. I'm so thankful for a husband that loves me and loves our son....makes the roller coaster of medical school seem like a small price to pay.

  1. Oh my majestic moozies, he is sooooooo CUTE!!!!! (Beckham, that is);-). Sweet, sweet pictures and sentiments. That feeling doesn't fade--the elation of Daddy's arrival home. Still just as exciting at 10 years old as 6 mos. old....

Can't wait to see him again soon!!!

    Love,
    Les
