Beckham is 2 years old! Big news around our house these days. His love relationship with bubbles these days is so extreme, that the termination of any activity associated with bubbles usually results in a tantrum. Some days, he mentions them MULTIPLE times a day. Hence, the bubbles theme.
When birthdays arrive, I usually have an internal conversation that goes something like this:
Briana: It would be fun to order a custom cake for ______.
Briana: Why would I spend all that money when I can make a cake myself?
Briana: Because it wouldn't look nearly as beautiful or be as tasty.
Briana: But it would be so much cheaper! to make it myself.
Briana: It would be a BIG stress-reliever to have someone else make it.

It was so much fun having our families there to celebrate. Beckham loves them so much! All week, we kept telling him that his birthday was coming up and he was going to have a party. He seemed to bypass that small detail and just talking about how his family and his cousins were coming to his house. "Lala comin'!" "Mimi comin"! "Cousins comin'"!

What a gift this little boy is to us! As a new 2 year old, some of Beckham's favorite things are his blue bear, Spot the dog, his "toallita" (spanish for rag) that he puts over his bear for "night night", saying "I want ___", or I need _____ " for just about anything, saying all of his colors, counting (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10), going potty when he's in the mood, throwing things away in the trash, jumping on beds, singing & dancing to music, books, more books, getting dirty, giving kisses and big hugs, and running naked around our house after bath time. oh, and of course BUBBLES!
