- the new book I just finished (that I l.o.v.e.d.)
- the ways that Beckham is growing
- the ways I am growing as a new mom
- Dixie's ride in the baby stroller today
- Beckham's latest growth spurt
- our pending move to Baltimore
- how sad I am to leave Saginaw
...and those are just a few. but the longer I put it off, the harder it is to write. So, for the sake of continuing to write, I am going to write about Dixie's latest trip in the stroller. Yeah, I know that's what you really wanted to hear about :)
John and I have a continuing quandary about letting Dixie outdoors. She obviously cannot be an outdoors cat since we live in an apartment complex. But all growing up, our cats were indoors/outdoors cats. They got the plush living of indoors, but could go out and be "wild" when they had the urge. So, we try to take Dixie outside when we get the chance. She never goes far, but you can tell she absolutely loves it. John has a lot more patience for this than I do. So, I am always looking for ways to get around this. That's why today was such a happy day. We made a small, but important discovery.
Dixie can ride in the baby stroller.
And ride in the stroller, she did. I can tell she's only going to love it more and more each time we do it. Beckham loved it, too! He fell asleep almost immediately. Note to self: Start the stroller ride right before naptime instead of during "awake time". Even though this post is about Dixie (she needs to have the spotlight once in awhile), how can I resist posting pictures of Beckham, how he is growing and how UNbelievably moozy he is?! I love this little boy!
Hi Briana! I LOVE that you take your cat in the stroller! That is totally something I would do! Beckham is getting so big and handsome...I'm so happy for you guys!
ReplyDeleteHe's totally moozy! Please define "moozy."
ReplyDeleteI'm just happy to see that my grandcat gets to go outside and at least pretend at being a wild animal!
