radios and ice cream

I love Fall.  After 29 years of waffling between spring and fall as my favorite season, I have officially claimed Fall as my favorite.  And today was the perfect day to usher it in.  A summer-ish morning, then rain around noon, the cool front bringing in the anticipation of a long awaited win in Neyland Stadium and the promise of cozy fires and sweaters to come.  Unfortunately, this household does not have ESPN, so I listened to the game on the radio.  This last resort turned out to be a wonderful one.  Kind of reminded me of what the old days might have been like, huddled around a radio, hanging on every word of the announcer.  The cool air outside was such a mood-setter, I have to say.

And now, to make Fall even better, I get to live in Knoxville....home of the VOLS!  I went to the Farmer's market today and could not wipe the smile off my face as I walked around, looking at all the orange and white :).

To top it off, I stopped by chic-fil-a today, ordered an ice cream, and THIS is what they gave me!  Brilliant!  GO VOLS!
